My work is a reflection of my world where at every turn and every new vantage point I see art, just waiting to be recorded in my particular translation and interpretation. With or without my camera, I constantly notice composition, repetition, balance, color, light, texture, interesting juxtapositions, all these elements that can be captured with the lens and transformed with the techniques and powerful tools of computer editing. With my camera, my initial capture can be like a quick sketch that I use as a reminder and base from which to create a particular piece of artwork, then at other times there is nothing I can do to improve or enhance the fantastic natural beauty I see – I can only try my best to capture it with love and wonder in a way that  I can share it with others and possibly the resulting photograph can invoke a little awe and wonder in the viewer – a small “taste” of the experience.
